First the vehicle is inspected to determine extent of repairs. Often there is internal damage that is not visible without some disassembly. This process is sometimes necessary to determine appropriate time & cost of repairs including parts that may need to be ordered, and allows us to provide the most accurate data for insurance review. At this point an estimate is provided to you.
Once the estimate is completed, it is provided to the insurance company for review. There may be some negotiations on the price and procedures required to repair the vehicle, including if the vehicle is even repairable. Once settled, the vehicle repair process begins.
The repair process can not begin until the shop receives all of the structural parts, which are ordered immediately if they are available. Special order parts will take longer and may prolong the process.
